About Russell
Russell has called Nantucket home since the late 1990s. He initially arrived on the island for a short-term job, but like many others, he was captivated by Nantucket's charm. He recognized the island’s welcoming nature and close-knit community, and he decided to stay.
While working for a local framer, Russell built valuable connections and established a solid foundation for his future. Just a few years later, he launched his own company, Russell Simpson Inc. He started small and focused on projects that allowed him to dedicate time and attention to each client.

Through word of mouth and an A+ reputation, small projects evolved into larger ones, and Russell Simpson Inc. grew into a team of dedicated professionals. Russell has discovered a formula for success on an island brimming with competition. At Russell Simpson Inc., the focus is always on quality rather than quantity. By being selective about the number of projects taken on, Russell ensures he can attend to every detail.
Operating as a small business on a tiny island 30 miles off the coast can be challenging. That’s why Russell Simpson Inc. prioritizes partnerships with local businesses and subcontractors to keep money circulating within the island community. Now, over twenty- five years since his arrival on Nantucket, Russell has deeply integrated himself into the community, where he and his wife, Erin, are raising their two children.
